RA+ Applied AI Experience Lead

Schneider Electric•Nashville, TN

About The Position

The RA+ Applied AI Experience Lead is a hands-on, principal-level individual contributor who helps RA+ translate customer outcomes into AI-first product experiences. The role tracks how leading SaaS and enterprise software companies incorporate AI, develops a point of view on effective interaction patterns, and brings that perspective to RA+. The Lead partners with product managers to explore and prototype approaches grounded in real requirements and desired outcomes, and works with engineering to turn recurring use cases into shared platform capabilities that can be used across RA+ products. The role does not own a product roadmap or manage a team; its impact comes through judgment, prototypes, and reusable patterns and guidance shared with colleagues. It reports directly to the CTO.

Requirements

  • A well-grounded point of view on AI in software, including concrete knowledge of AI in enterprise and SaaS products, effective user interactions, and emerging directions.
  • Ongoing learning about AI technologies and sufficient fluency to understand what capabilities enable and how they can be used in products.
  • A track record of translating ambiguous requirements or outcomes into AI-first solutions in partnership with product owners.
  • Ability and instinct to prototype ideas using prompts, flows, or worked examples, and to consider behavior when experiences are wrong, slow, or not grounded in real data.
  • Experience partnering with engineering to turn repeated product needs into reusable platform capabilities and clearly articulate the use case each capability serves.
  • Evidence of making other product professionals more effective through examples, frameworks, or patterns they can use independently.
  • Ability to learn unfamiliar domains quickly and reimagine how they should work.
  • Clear writing and communication that others can follow and build on.

Responsibilities

  • Track how leading SaaS and enterprise software companies incorporate AI into their products and develop a reasoned point of view on effective end-user interaction patterns.
  • Advise the product organization on where and how AI should appear in user workflows, including which emerging practices are ready to adopt.
  • Partner with product managers to understand requirements and desired outcomes and prototype concrete AI-first approaches for evaluation.
  • Build and maintain a library of AI use-case patterns drawn from market research and internal prototypes, in a form product managers can apply.
  • Partner with engineering to identify recurring use cases and turn them into shared platform capabilities available across RA+ products.
  • Shape the intended behavior and use cases of shared capabilities alongside engineering, and support their adoption.
