R.N. II Med/Surg Tele - Days - 12hr QVH
About The Position
The Staff RN is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame. The RN is a clinical practitioner who coordinates and implements patient care specific to the age of the patient population served on the assigned units, ensuring quality care is provided efficiently and safely in accordance with the unit's standard of care. The RN uses nursing skills to assess patients’ and families’ biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, and educational needs, and to develop, implement, and revise the plan of care. The position is at QVH and is listed for day shifts of 12 hours. The RN must be available to work every other weekend. Pay range: $52.97–$81.00.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the State of California.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification within 3 months of hire or transfer.
- Chemo Certification within one year of hire or transfer.
- Annual one hour of Stroke Education for employees working at QVH.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Newly graduated nurses, re-entry nurses, and nurses new to the U.S. healthcare system must satisfactorily complete the Emanate Health R.N. New Grad Program.
- Availability to work every other weekend.
