About The Position

This role is for a Quality Technician working the night shift. The position involves understanding quality concepts in a manufacturing environment, performing hands-on inspections using various tools, and ensuring products meet quality standards. Key responsibilities include inspecting, rejecting, or accepting products based on visual standards, weight, tally, and other QC requirements. The role also involves documentation, recordkeeping, controlling non-conforming product, and adhering to company policies, including those related to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and Quality.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Three years of verifiable work experience, preferred in manufacturing environment
Trained into API Q1 and ISO 9001
Basic math
Ability to accurately use scales, OD tape, ruler, thread height gauge
Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties as required
Ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to read drawings, instructions or repair and assembly operations
Dependability/Attendance
Detail oriented
Teamworking and collaborative

Responsibilities

Understanding of quality concepts in a manufacturing environment
Hands-on experience with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, and similar equipment
Inspect, reject or accept product according to visual standard, weight, tally and other Q.C. requirements
Documentation and recordkeeping
Control the removal of monogram from non-conforming product
Wear appropriate PPE
Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures
Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures
Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures
Other duties as assigned
