About The Position

This role is for a Quality Technician in a manufacturing environment, primarily responsible for ensuring product quality through various inspection and documentation tasks. The position requires adherence to company policies, safety guidelines, and quality standards.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.
Three years of verifiable work experience, preferred in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to accurately use scales, OD tape, ruler, thread height gauge.
Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties as required.
Ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to read drawings, instructions, or repair and assembly operations.
Basic math skills.

Nice To Haves

Understanding of quality concepts in a manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, and similar equipment.
Trained in API Q1 and ISO 9001.

Responsibilities

Understand quality concepts in a manufacturing environment.
Perform hands-on inspection using tools like calipers, micrometers, and thread gauges.
Inspect, reject, or accept product based on visual standards, weight, tally, and other Quality Control requirements.
Document and maintain records.
Control the removal of monograms from non-conforming product.
Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures.
Comply with all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, guidelines, and procedures.
Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
