About The Position

Plastic Ingenuity is hiring a detail-oriented Quality Technician for its third-shift manufacturing team. The role offers hands-on training in quality inspection and measurement and is open to candidates with manufacturing experience who are interested in developing technical skills. Prior quality inspection experience is helpful but not required. The position works Monday through Thursday, 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off. Starting pay is $23.60 per hour.

Requirements

• Manufacturing, production, machine operating, assembly, or inspection experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Comfort with basic math and measurements.
• Enjoyment of troubleshooting and figuring out why something is not right.
• Comfort using computers.
• Ability to communicate concerns clearly and respectfully.
• Dependability and comfort working overnight.

Nice To Haves

• Previous quality inspection experience is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect manufactured products and identify defects.
• Measure parts using calipers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.
• Perform quality tests and document results.
• Read specifications and determine whether products meet requirements.
• Communicate quality concerns directly with Production.
• Help troubleshoot defects and determine potential causes.
• Enter inspection results into computer systems.
• Learn and use more advanced inspection equipment and quality processes as skills develop.
