About The Position

Caterpillar is hiring a Quality Technician II for its North Little Rock, Arkansas team. The role performs quality inspections of Motor Grader, Medium Wheel Loader, and DV components and machines, with an emphasis on assembly and paint process inspections. The technician applies Caterpillar engineering drawings, specifications, and standards to determine whether North Little Rock products conform to requirements. The position is on the first shift and offers an hourly pay range of $21.75–$27.30, day-one benefits, and a potential bonus.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in quality inspection, welding and fabrication, machining, assembly, paint, or logistics.
• Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to build positive working relationships with coworkers and customers.

Nice To Haves

• Additional work experience, particularly in a manufacturing quality role.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and Cat 1E specifications.
• Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerance.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in SAP-ME, AQE, and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to use Teamcenter to open and view CAD models of Prime Product and assemblies.
• Experience using online Caterpillar drawings in EPIX or PRWB and 1E Specifications in REDI.
• Experience using manual measurement devices such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
• Understanding of and experience with root cause and corrective action (RCCA) or the 8D issue resolution process.
