About The Position

Crown Equipment Corporation, a global leader in lift truck manufacturing, is seeking a Quality Systems Support Technician. This role involves conducting internal system and process audits across Crown's ISO 9001 registered locations and manufacturing facilities worldwide. The technician will be responsible for documenting audit findings, issuing corrective actions, and supporting the validation of their effectiveness. Additionally, the position will provide support for training new internal auditors, maintaining audit policies and procedures, assisting with external audit preparedness, and collecting data for management review meetings. This is a full-time position with opportunities for professional growth within a globally recognized company.

Requirements

  • 2 years related experience
  • Associate's degree of equivalent
  • Must have valid driving privileges
  • Job requires employee to drive a personal vehicle to conduct company business < 20% per week (8 hours) and/or travel locally between company locations during scheduled workday
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States. This is not a position for which sponsorship will be provided. Individuals with temporary visas or who need sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, are not eligible for hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Lead Auditor.
  • Experience with Excel, Power BI and data management.
  • Project management experience.
  • Database and/or SAP and SharePoint experience, as well as app development experience.
  • An in-depth understanding of lift truck operation and system functions

Responsibilities

  • Prepare for and conduct scheduled internal system audits of Crown’s Management System across all of Crown’s ISO 9001 registered locations and functional areas.
  • Prepare for and conduct scheduled process audits at all of Crown’s manufacturing locations.
  • Document all information related to audit results, including findings such as nonconformances and observations.
  • Issue corrective actions for nonconformances and support validation of corrective action effectiveness.
  • Support training & coaching of new internal auditors.
  • Assist with maintenance and continuous improvement of internal audit policies and procedures.
  • Support functional areas with external audit preparedness through internal audit reviews & GAP analysis.
  • Collect internal audit and other data for use in Quarterly Management Review meetings.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.
