About The Position

The Quality System Manager owns end-to-end delivery for MRB digital products, including requirements, functional design, testing, and release readiness. The role works with MRB members, engineering, and operations to map current- and future-state processes and translate them into user stories with clear acceptance criteria. It maintains functional specifications as requirements change and leads system and user acceptance testing, including test scripting, business tester coordination, defect resolution, and traceability from requirements through testing and defect closure. The manager recommends test sign-off for each release and provides the Product Owner with a clear go/no-go view. The role manages day-to-day delivery through JIRA backlog maintenance, coordination of dependencies and risks across development, SAP, and business teams, and status reporting to leadership. It serves as the primary functional decision-maker for development teams on questions within agreed scope, escalating priority and scope trade-offs to the Product Owner. Additional responsibilities include defining data mappings and interface requirements for SAP quality notification integrations in partnership with SAP teams; extending delivery ownership of the SmartQN product family, with growth into the Product Owner role for SmartQN Tasker; and supporting KPI development, reporting, dashboards, and ad-hoc data requests using SQL, Databricks, and Qlik. The role offers the opportunity to deepen knowledge of the company’s quality system, drive improvement, support new concepts for quality initiatives, and contribute to AI initiatives for MRB.
