About The Position

The Quality Supervisor oversees the Quality Management System (QMS) for the Division with the support of Quality coordinators at their assigned facilities within the division. This role ensures each facility meets and follows SOP and QMS guidelines in addition to supporting facility training. The supervisor must have the ability to audit processes and possess excellent data keeping and entry skills.

Requirements

• Good communication skills/ability to conduct large grout training
• Mechanical aptitude as demonstrated by prior experience.
• Ability to think ahead, anticipate problems, make decisions
• Self-motivated towards productivity improvements, quality, and safety awareness.
• Solid interpersonal skills and team orientation.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends and some holidays as needed.
• Proven proficiency in coating plant SOP
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Prior coating and sand blasting experience preferred but not required.
• NACE certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure products and services provided at facility meet or exceed requirements.
• Report all discrepancies and/or departures from published guidelines and procedures to facility management.
• Task reports where needed to address concerns and continues audits of facilities to ensure compliance.
• Assist in QAR investigation, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action and respond to QAR’s issued against the facility by Corp. Quality
• Assess and coordinate individual employee training needs, provide quality system orientation, training and maintain documentation.
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed
• Follow all Company HSE, QMS policies and procedures and report to the appropriate personnel of any violations of these policies or procedures.
