About The Position
A leading precision manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Supervisor to lead its 1st shift inspection team. This role is responsible for overseeing all inspection activities, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and driving continuous improvement across the department.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a quality leadership or supervisory role
- Strong background in inspection within a precision machining or aerospace environment
- Familiarity with GD&T, blueprints, and inspection tools (CMM experience a plus)
- Knowledge of AS9100 or ISO quality systems
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves
- AS9100 experience preferred
- CMM experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support a team of quality inspectors on 1st shift
- Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections
- Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal quality standards (AS9100 experience preferred)
- Review and approve inspection reports, first article inspections (FAIs), and non-conformance documentation
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues and improve processes
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
- Train, mentor, and develop inspection personnel
- Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives
