Aerospace Precision CNC Machining Specialist
About The Position
Through TekPro’s partnerships with leading aerospace and precision manufacturers, you’ll step into a clean, air‑conditioned shop where high-tolerance components are the norm and quality is non‑negotiable. Picture your day: you review the job traveler and blueprint, set up your CNC mill or lathe, load tooling, dial in offsets, and run a careful first piece inspection using precision measurement tools. Once in cycle, you keep parts flowing safely and efficiently—holding tight tolerances and documenting results—while collaborating with teammates to fine‑tune processes and support continuous improvement on the floor.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience operating CNC machinery
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measurement tools
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high‑quality parts
- Reliability to work a scheduled shift with overtime opportunities

- Background with setups, tooling, and offsets
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC equipment to produce precision aerospace components
- Interpret engineering drawings/blueprints to plan and execute machining operations
- Perform tool changes, make offsets, and adjust machines to maintain part quality
- Inspect parts with precision measuring instruments to verify tight tolerances
- Maintain production throughput while upholding safety and quality standards
- Contribute to shop-floor improvements and problem solving
