This role involves developing and optimizing CNC programs for precision aerospace components, with a strong emphasis on multi-axis machining. The day-to-day activities include interpreting engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T to create accurate and efficient toolpaths. The programmer will collaborate closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to enhance machining efficiency and part quality. Responsibilities also include guiding process development, such as tooling selection and setup optimization, troubleshooting issues on the shop floor, and leading continuous improvement initiatives focused on cycle time, tooling performance, and machining strategies. The work environment is an air-conditioned, clean, high-precision aerospace machining facility.
