About The Position

TRIGO Global Quality Solutions is seeking a Quality Resident Liaison/Automotive Representative for a part-time role in Seneca, SC. This position is crucial for the success of TRIGO's Quality Resident Engineering business. The primary objective is to achieve the highest feasible standards in preventing official claims from customers through both preventive and corrective actions. The role involves providing technical support to the customer, assisting with quality issues, and promoting the contracted customer's reputation. A key aspect is building strong professional relationships with the customer at the plant level, acting as the customer's representative qualified to handle production issues and gaining credibility through fulfilled commitments. The position also ensures open communication between the OEM and the contracted customer, suggests improvements, and analyzes problems at the OEM's facility to find solutions and avoid claims. It requires proactive channeling of information on existing claims to production plants for corrective actions and providing continuous feedback to the customer on claim status. Participation in customer meetings, regular audits of customer product handling, and staying updated on technical and business topics are also essential. The role involves monitoring competitor activities, reporting to the TRIGO Resident liaison Manager and external contacts, and participating in prototype builds, trials, and engineering changes. Coordination of repair and/or sorting activities on-site is also a responsibility, requiring written confirmation from the client before initiating any sorting or rework.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer satisfaction through technical support, assistance with quality issues, and promotion of the contracted customer's reputation.
  • Build a tight and solid professional relationship with the customer at the plant level.
  • Act as the contracted customer's representative, qualified to deal with customer production issues and gain customer credibility through fulfilled commitments.
  • Ensure an open and straight communication line between OEM and the contracted customer.
  • Suggest improvements to both OEM and contracted customer.
  • Immediately analyze problems at OEM's facility to find the proper solution and avoid claims, informing affected production plants to take appropriate corrective actions.
  • Proactively channel information on existing claims to the Plant to perform analysis and solve them.
  • Provide continuous feedback to the customer about the status and evolution of existing claims as soon as possible.
  • Participate in customer meetings as required.
  • Seek continuous feedback, formal and informal, on customer satisfaction regarding TRIGO's product and service.
  • Audit regularly how the customer handles TRIGO's products.
  • Stay trained and updated on technical and quality-related specifics and business topics through regular meetings and visits to contracted partners.
  • Be aware of and transmit to the TRIGO Resident liaison Manager any project or initiative taken by competitors.
  • Report on a regular basis to the dedicated contracted partner's team or contact partner.
  • Participate in any prototype, pre-serial builds, line trials, launch support, and engineering changes at the Customer as needed.
  • Represent the contracted partner and the interests of the customer.
  • Coordinate repair and/or Sorting activities on site, ensuring sorting or rework activities are executed only based on written confirmation by the contracted client.
