About The Position

TRIGO Global Quality Solutions is seeking a Quality Resident Liaison/Automotive Representative for a full-time opening in Fremont, CA. This role is crucial for the success of TRIGO's Quality Resident Engineering business. The primary objective is to achieve the highest feasible standards in preventing and correcting issues to avoid official claims from the customer. The position involves providing technical support, managing quality issues, and representing TRIGO to the customer, building strong professional relationships, and acting as a qualified representative for customer production issues. The role requires ensuring open communication between the OEM and the contracted customer, suggesting improvements, analyzing problems at the OEM's facility to find solutions, and coordinating corrective actions with affected production plants. Continuous feedback on claim status, participation in customer meetings, and regular audits of customer product handling are expected. The individual must stay updated on technical and business topics, monitor competitor activities, and report regularly to the TRIGO team. Involvement in prototype builds, line trials, launch support, and engineering changes is also part of the role. The position involves representing the contracted partner and customer interests, coordinating repair and sorting activities on-site, and requiring written confirmation for any sorting or rework.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer satisfaction through technical support, quality issue resolution, and promotion of the contracted customer's reputation.
  • Build a strong professional relationship with the customer at the plant level.
  • Act as the contracted customer's representative, qualified to handle customer production issues and gain customer credibility through fulfilled commitments.
  • Maintain an open and direct communication line between the OEM and the contracted customer.
  • Suggest improvements to both the OEM and the contracted customer.
  • Analyze problems at the OEM's facility to find proper solutions and avoid claims, and inform affected production plants of corrective actions.
  • Proactively channel information on existing claims to plants for analysis and resolution.
  • Provide continuous feedback to the customer on the status and evolution of existing claims.
  • Participate in customer meetings as required.
  • Seek continuous feedback on customer satisfaction with TRIGO's product and service.
  • Regularly audit how the customer handles TRIGO's products.
  • Stay trained and updated on technical, quality, and business specifics through regular meetings and visits to contracted partners.
  • Be aware of and report any projects or initiatives taken by competitors to the TRIGO Resident liaison Manager.
  • Report on a regular basis to the dedicated contracted partner's team or contact partner.
  • Participate in prototype, pre-serial builds, line trials, launch support, and engineering changes at the customer's site as needed.
  • Represent the contracted partner and the customer's interests.
  • Coordinate repair and/or sorting activities on site.
  • Initiate sorting or rework activities only based on written confirmation by the contracted client.
