About The Position

Princeton Precision Group is seeking an experienced Quality Manager for Paragon Precision to support its engineering, machining, and operations teams. The Quality Manager will maintain, update, and support the quality management system to ensure compliance, and bring expertise in surface plate and CMM inspection. The role calls for staying current with metrology trends, contributing to process improvement and on-time delivery, and leading the quality team by example.

Requirements

Four or more years of quality management experience in the aerospace and defense industry.
Knowledge and experience reading and interpreting CMM data reports.
Knowledge and hands-on experience creating a quality management system.
Understanding of the AS9100D standard.
Willingness to train existing staff to increase throughput.

Nice To Haves

Engineering degree, or equivalent experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

Direct quality control and quality assurance programs.
Develop, update, and improve documentation.
Audit staff and educate them on maintaining adherence to the quality management system.
Prepare final inspection and conformity paperwork for outgoing product.
Inspect and approve outgoing product according to customer instructions or standards.
Document non-conformances and work with relevant staff to determine whether re-inspection or additional processing will correct the issue.
Prepare reports and other documentation for customers, staff, and leadership.
Review and approve technical and performance specifications, sampling plans, and inspection procedures.
Continuously improve processes and decrease turnaround times.
Work jointly with engineering, machining, and quality staff to deliver conforming parts on time and provide excellent customer service.
Perform other quality-related duties as required.
