About The Position

The Quality Manager is responsible for leading and driving all aspects of quality assurance across AMAX’s hardware manufacturing and system integration operations. This role ensures that AI servers, GPU-based systems, and data center solutions meet customer, regulatory, and internal quality standards. Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001) Define quality KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and operations Partner with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the product lifecycle Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspection processes for servers, storage systems, and rack-level builds Monitor production quality metrics (yield, defect rates, rework, RMA trends) Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) Support supplier quality activities, including incoming inspection, supplier corrective actions, and quality performance monitoring Conduct supplier audits and manage supplier corrective actions Act as the primary point of contact for customer quality issues and escalations Ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards Support customer audits and quality reviews Lead and mentor a team of quality engineers Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
  • 5–7 years of experience in quality management within hardware, electronics, or manufacturing environments
  • Strong knowledge of QMS (ISO 9001 or similar)
  • Experience with root cause methodologies (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone)
  • Familiarity with manufacturing of servers, storage systems, or similar hardware

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AI/HPC systems or data center hardware
  • Knowledge of supplier quality and global supply chain operations
  • Certifications such as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) or Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt)
