The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate execution of all Quality Engineering (QE) deliverables, including Quality Objectives, MSA, Control Plans, Part Inspection, Capability Studies, and Customer PPAP. This role involves monitoring and reporting production and service quality scores, implementing corrective actions, and developing strong relationships with both customers and internal teams to facilitate successful product launches. Key responsibilities also include managing QE resource budgets and staffing, participating in the quoting process, and actively engaging in program and phase exit reviews. The manager will prepare monthly assessments of QE deliverables, mitigate risks, and apply advanced quality planning and statistical concepts. Furthermore, the position requires active participation in Health/Safety/Environmental investigations, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, and promoting environmental management system adherence.
