Quality Manager (Manufacturing/ISO 9001 exp req)

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field required
- 5+ years quality experience in a manufacturing environment required
- Management experience required
- In-depth knowledge of applicable quality standards and regulations (ISO 9001) required
- Experience with corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and root cause analysis required
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, maintain QMS in compliance with ISO 9001 and other regulatory standards
- Coordinate and lead audits (internal, customer, third-party); ensure timely resolution of findings
- Manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and conduct root cause analysis
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives through Lean, Six Sigma, other quality methodologies
- Maintain quality procedures, work instructions, forms, records, and other QMS documentation
- Monitor and report quality performance, trends, and compliance metrics
- Supervise, mentor, and develop quality inspectors and technicians
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve quality issues and support product changes
- Develop/deliver quality standards, inspection techniques, and regulatory requirements trainings
- Maintain accurate employee training and qualification records
- Manage supplier quality performance, including audits, approvals, and corrective actions
- Support first article inspections (FAI) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities
- Monitor/reduce cost of poor quality (COPQ), including scrap, rework, warranty claims, returns
- Partner with Finance /Operations to evaluate financial impact, identify cost-saving opportunities
