About The Position
As a Manufacturing Technician at Honeywell, you will use critical thinking in a clean room environment and apply chemistry fundamentals to support customer-focused solutions. Working under direct supervision alongside chemists, you will help develop and optimize chemical formulations, conduct experiments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development. You will run experiments and tests to aid in improving manufacturing procedures and processes. The role contributes to integrating chemistry principles into product development and advancing the quality and innovation of Honeywell’s offerings.
Requirements
- Experience working in a chemical manufacturing environment.
- Experience in a clean room laboratory.
- Works under minimal supervision.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related science degree.
- Leadership or coaching experience to direct and/or indirect reports.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment according to standard operating procedures.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure product conformity and adherence to specifications.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Document production data and maintain accurate records.
- Develop and optimize chemical formulations, conduct experiments, and support product development.
- Run experiments and tests to help improve manufacturing procedures and processes.
