The Quality Management Specialist is responsible for performing accreditation readiness activities, including internal mock-surveys and required accreditation tasks. This role facilitates continuous readiness in collaboration with healthcare quality colleagues and management. The specialist will work with an interdisciplinary team to ensure national measures and standards are met, and will facilitate the development, review, preparation, and implementation of accreditation readiness activities. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with management to maintain the Quality Management Plan, policies, and procedures in compliance with TJC and other regulatory standards, and directing the timely submission of patient care data for patient satisfaction and TJC. The specialist will analyze findings, implement interventions for quality outcomes and patient satisfaction improvements, manage databases, and ensure communication and training on new standards and regulations to stakeholders. This position works closely with the Quality Management leadership team and requires maintaining knowledge of various accreditation and regulatory standards.
