About The Position

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Quality Management Specialist – AvMC Prototype Integration Facility to support our Huntsville, AL location. PeopleTec is seeking a qualified Quality Management Specialist to support the AvMC Prototype Integration Facility (PIF) within the Quality Management Division. The successful candidate will help ensure products, services, and processes meet applicable quality requirements, government expectations, and Quality Management System (QMS) standards.

Requirements

  • Experience reviewing technical drawings for manufacturability and standards compliance.
  • Working knowledge of AS9100D standards and their application within operational processes.
  • Experience conducting internal QMS audits.
  • Experience managing nonconformities, corrective actions, preventive actions, and effectiveness verification.
  • Experience developing quality control plans and using statistical process control methods.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Experience maintaining quality records in accordance with QMS and retention requirements.
  • Experience supporting Government Quality Assurance inspection and acceptance activities.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Responsibilities

  • Review engineering drawings to confirm manufacturability and compliance with applicable standards and requirements.
  • Manage and apply AS9100D requirements to PIF processes and quality procedures.
  • Conduct internal audits in support of the PIF Quality Management System.
  • Investigate nonconformities and develop, implement, and verify the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Develop and implement quality control plans.
  • Perform statistical process control, analyze quality data, and identify root causes of nonconformities.
  • Maintain quality records demonstrating conformity to requirements and the effective operation of the PIF QMS, including record archiving, retrieval, and retention.
  • Support Government Quality Assurance inspection and acceptance activities for products and services.
