About The Position

Pro QC International is seeking a Quality Inspector for a contract role in Harrisburg, PA. This position involves inspecting incoming and outgoing shipments, conducting inventory checks, identifying defects, and maintaining detailed records. The role is a 1099 contract position with a current project duration of 5 days to 1 week, with potential for variation based on client needs and site availability. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Warehouse or logistics experience such as: Receiving/shipping clerk, Inventory associate, Picker/packer or forklift operator
• Quality control (QC) / inspection experience
• Inspecting products for damage or defects
• Sampling and testing materials
• Following inspection procedures and standards
• Shipping & receiving knowledge: Purchase orders, packing slips, invoices
• Verifying shipments and quantities
• Handling discrepancies (missing, damaged, incorrect items)
• Must be able to travel to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and nearby areas

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, damage, and compliance with purchase orders
• Verify outgoing goods before dispatch to ensure correct quantity, labeling, and condition
• Conduct routine inventory checks and cycle counts to maintain stock accuracy
• Identify defects, damages, or discrepancies and report findings to supervisors
• Maintain detailed inspection records, logs, and reports
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and labeling of products within the warehouse
