Quality Department Intern (Electric Vehicle Battery Solutions)

Cox Enterprises•Atlanta, GA
•$22 - $33•Hybrid

About The Position

EVBS is seeking a motivated intern for a 12-week summer engagement supporting the Quality Department. The intern will organize and standardize Quality Management System (QMS) documentation across four EVBS sites: Atlanta, Las Vegas, Detroit, and Oklahoma City. The project supports ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certification efforts and improves how quality teams, auditors, and site leadership access and maintain controlled documents. The intern will design and build a consistent SharePoint structure for QMS content, including folder taxonomy, naming conventions, document-control workflows, and metadata or tagging. The work includes auditing existing documentation, establishing and validating a standardized structure, and migrating or reorganizing existing content while preserving revision history and controlled-document status where required. The intern will also develop maintenance guidance and report progress and recommendations to leadership. This hybrid internship offers hands-on experience with a multi-site automotive QMS, quality standards, SharePoint information architecture, document control, and cross-functional coordination. The role requires a 12-week summer commitment and may involve travel approximately 5% of the time.
