About The Position

The Quality Control Technician tests concrete and materials used to produce concrete in accordance with test methods, specifications, and imi protocol. The technician evaluates test results, reports them to the QC Manager, and supports the company’s corporate quality vision. The role also requires maintaining testing qualifications, following safety policies, and representing the company professionally. Compensation depends on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to obtain ACI Level 1 and PCC Level 1 Technician course qualifications.
Safety-oriented and experienced with OSHA regulations.
Ability to perform mathematical operations involving variables and percentages.
Ability to assess situations and solve problems quickly.
Ability to lift 80 pounds.
Computer skills in G-Suite and Microsoft Office.
Effective oral and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Some experience in the concrete industry.

Responsibilities

Perform testing procedures, evaluate results, and report them to the QC Manager.
Demonstrate commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to safety policies in all work environments.
Maintain records and report results neatly and promptly.
Sample and test raw materials.
Maintain a clean and professional laboratory.
Troubleshoot concrete-related issues.
Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.
Maintain certifications and qualifications through exams, seminars, and related industry courses.
Cooperate with the QC Manager and assist in achieving and maintaining the company’s corporate quality vision.
Maintain professionalism and conduct that promotes a good image for the company.
