About The Position

Techmer PM is seeking an experienced and motivated Quality Control Supervisor to lead daily QC operations at its Rancho Dominguez, California site. The position is responsible for ensuring products consistently meet or exceed customer expectations and for maintaining compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) and ISO 9001. The role emphasizes quality management, employee development, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. It is an on-site, third-shift position reporting to the Laboratory Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Five years of Quality Control experience or two years of Quality Supervision experience.
• Leadership and supervisory skills.
• Knowledge of QMS and ISO 9001 standards.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as manufacturing/ERP systems.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in manufacturing, plastics, polymers, or color concentrates.
• Previous laboratory leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily QC operations.
• Lead, coach, and develop Quality Technicians.
• Ensure accurate and timely product testing and documentation.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Technical Services to resolve quality and color issues.
• Review documentation required for product approval and release.
• Promote safety and conduct routine safety observations.
• Review production schedules and coordinate laboratory support.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Assist with nonconformance investigations, special projects, and department budgeting.
• Support cross-functional teamwork and perform other duties as assigned.
