About The Position

Techmer PM is seeking an Allocation Handler for its Rancho Dominguez, California facility. The role loads, unloads, and moves materials within a warehouse or storage facility, using handling equipment to move materials to and from trucks and throughout the facility. The position is on the second shift, Monday through Friday, from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM. Training may take place on first or second shift, Monday through Thursday. Compensation starts at $20.00 per hour and increases depending on experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to lift 55 pounds frequently.
Ability to achieve forklift certification.

Responsibilities

Follow established safety and company policies.
Maintain warehouse housekeeping and 6S.
Pick materials accurately and on time for production or delivery staging.
Process returned materials accurately and promptly, within 24 hours at a minimum.
Use transactions to move materials between locations and functional teams, including operations, the lab, and the warehouse.
Follow First In, First Out (FIFO) principles, except where exceptions apply, such as contamination risks or full-batch requirements.
Record material movements and updates in D365 and scheduling sheets, including scanning pick lists and receipts, recording status changes, and printing production packets.
Communicate clearly and professionally in a timely manner, escalating issues to the Lead or Supervisor as needed.
Perform cycle counts as directed.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
