About The Position
Techmer PM is seeking an Allocation Handler for its Rancho Dominguez, California facility. The role loads, unloads, and moves materials within a warehouse or storage facility using hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other material-handling equipment. The position is on the third shift, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM. Training may take place on first or second shift, Monday through Thursday. The salary is $20.00 per hour and up, depending on experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift 55 pounds frequently.
- Ability to obtain forklift certification.
Responsibilities
- Follow all safety and company policies.
- Maintain warehouse housekeeping and 6S.
- Pick materials accurately and on time for production or delivery staging.
- Process returned materials accurately and promptly, at least within 24 hours.
- Use transactions to move materials between locations and functional teams, including operations, the lab, and the warehouse.
- Follow First In, First Out (FIFO) principles, except where exceptions apply, such as contamination risks or full-batch requirements.
- Record material movements and updates in D365 and scheduling sheets, including scanning pick lists and receipts, recording status changes, and printing production packets.
- Communicate clearly, professionally, and promptly, escalating issues to the Lead or Supervisor as needed.
- Perform cycle-count activities as directed.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
