About The Position

Lakeside Industries, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Intern for a 10–16-week summer internship in Issaquah, Washington. The intern will work alongside QC engineers and technicians, field supervisors, and paving crews, gaining hands-on experience with asphalt testing, material inspection, and compliance standards. The role is suited to students interested in civil engineering, construction management, or materials science.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite tools.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to have fun while working hard.

Responsibilities

• Assist with asphalt density training.
• Work with aggregate and mix testing.
• Participate in the basics of mix design formulation.
• Interact with other departments, including Risk & Safety and Operations.
