Quality Control Inspector - 3rd Shift

KIK Consumer ProductsHouston, TX
Onsite

About The Position

Join our team as a Quality Control Inspector in the Blow Mold department on 3rd Shift (Monday – Friday; 10:00 pm - 6:30 am with weekends per business need) at our Houston facility, where your attention to detail directly protects product quality and customer satisfaction. In this role, you are the quality checkpoint within the blow molding room — pulling bottles from the production lines, checking gauges and equipment, and performing drop tests to catch imperfections not visible to the naked eye. While hourly checks are shared with operators covering opposite hours, you remain actively engaged in the inspection process throughout your shift. You will call out defects, pull bottles when quality issues arise, and inspect containers rejected by the leak detector before they are ground up. Beyond inspection, you’ll help trace quality issues back to their source, document your findings, and build on that information to support resolution — while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. This position does not operate the machines but works in close proximity to them. This position has an hourly rate of $18.03 per hour.
