About The Position

VigorCare Pediatric Services is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance professional to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. As a full-time Quality Assurance specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of care for our pediatric patients.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field
Knowledge of industry regulations and standards, such as HIPAA and Joint Commission
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Conduct regular audits and reviews of patient records, treatment plans, and services provided to ensure accuracy and effectiveness
Collaborate with clinical staff to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address any issues
Train and educate staff on quality assurance protocols and procedures
Monitor and track quality assurance metrics and provide regular reports to management
Stay current on industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure compliance and make necessary updates to quality assurance policies and procedures
Act as a liaison between the company and regulatory agencies during audits and inspections
Participate in the development and implementation of new programs and initiatives to improve overall quality of care
Conduct investigations and root cause analyses for any quality-related incidents or concerns
Communicate and collaborate with other departments to ensure a coordinated approach to quality assurance and improvement efforts
Foster a culture of continuous quality improvement throughout the organization.
