About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Associate to support food production operations and ensure the highest standards of safety and quality. This role is responsible for monitoring processes, inspecting products, and maintaining compliance with food safety regulations in a fast-paced, refrigerated manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, warehouse, or food service environment preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (35°F – 45°F)
Comfortable using tablets or iPads for data entry and reporting
Basic reading, writing, and math skills
Strong attendance and reliability
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Continuous standing and walking throughout the shift
Frequent lifting of 1–50 lbs; occasional lifting up to 100 lbs
Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching
Ability to work in a cold, fast-paced production environment

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of GMP, SQF, and food safety standards
Leadership qualities and ability to support/train team members
Experience with quality inspections and documentation

Responsibilities

Follow all food safety requirements, GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), and company procedures
Inspect raw materials, collect samples, and perform quality checks
Conduct visual inspections of in-process and finished products to ensure specifications are met
Record and document inspection results, test data, and product status in QA systems
Analyze data, identify trends, and report findings to management
Ensure compliance with OSHA, food safety standards (including SQF), and internal policies
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Support production activities such as sorting, packaging, reboxing, and sanitation as needed
Assist with continuous improvement and food safety initiatives
Perform additional duties as assigned
