About The Position
We are hiring a Quality Assurance professional for our Sugarland, TX client. We are looking for experienced, reliable, and hard-working employees who can interview immediately. This role involves conducting inspection, testing, and screening for defects in Optoelectronic components. The position requires the use of microscopes for detailed inspection and hand-picking of small components with tweezers. Responsibilities include documenting inspection results by completing reports and logging them into a quality database, and maintaining measurement equipment by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year production or electronic assembly experience
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to use microscope
- Steady hands
- Need to be able to handle very small components
Nice To Haves
- Previous clean room or semiconductor manufacturing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Conducts inspection, testing, and/or screening for defects in Optoelectronic components
