The Vendor Specialist is responsible for ensuring vendor and product quality through audits, testing, and performance reviews, while driving continuous improvement, supporting ISO compliance, analyzing data for informed decision-making, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver accurate, high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required
5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or quality environment
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills
Proficiency in basic statistics and computer applications
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Minimal travel required
Legally authorized to work in the U.S. (required)

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience with GMP, ISO 9001, or ISO 14001 strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Conduct internal and external vendor audits to ensure compliance with quality and performance standards
Implement and maintain vendor audit systems to support Six Sigma-level quality performance
Lead vendor performance reviews covering quality, service, and delivery
Perform material line studies, testing, and validation for new and existing products
Manage test orders and verify accuracy of incoming raw materials and vendor invoices
Execute quality audits for in-process and finished goods; drive corrective actions as needed
Analyze data and generate clear, actionable reports to support decision-making
Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Merchandising, and customers to ensure satisfaction and successful change implementation
Support ISO 9001 audits and maintain compliance with quality standards
Serve as a key liaison between internal teams and external vendors
Lead or contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and special projects
Deliver accurate, high-quality work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
