About The Position

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for calibrating inspection tools and equipment, ensuring compliance through internal audits and leading customer and third-party audits. You will process customer complaints and warranty claims, assist production in handling non-conforming products, and support the Quality Manager in developing Standard Operating Procedures. Additionally, you will prepare and assist with PPAP documentation, schedule and organize Management Review meetings, monitor quality systems, and initiate corrective actions using structured problem-solving methods.

Requirements

Experience in quality assurance and inspection.
Must have experience working with ISO standards.
Experience with 3rd party and customer audits.
Experience with suppliers and handling non-conforming products.
Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis and investigations.
Ability to explain precision measuring tools.
Experience in implementing quality processes and leading teams.
Knowledge of ISO 9001, GD&T, blueprint reading, and welding.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of welding and allied processes is an asset.
Good knowledge of tools and measuring equipment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Internal Auditing and Quality Assurance training.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities
