About The Position
We are looking for a QA Developer to support quality assurance across web applications and APIs. This role works directly with the engineering team under the oversight of a lead, and is expected to contribute hands-on test automation work, particularly in Playwright.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work legally in the US without sponsorship, now or in the future.
- 5+ years of experience as a QA Developer with a solid understanding of core testing concepts and methodologies
- Experience testing both web applications and APIs
- Hands-on development experience in Playwright, with the ability to write and build automated tests, not just run them
- Working experience with Cypress, Postman, and API testing
Responsibilities
- Design, write, and maintain automated tests for web applications and APIs
- Build and extend test automation using Playwright, contributing production-ready scripts starting day one
- Support existing test coverage in Cypress and Postman
- Develop test scenarios and scripts within Playwright, not just execute pre-built suites
- Collaborate with engineers on defect identification, reproduction, and resolution
- Report testing status and issues to the team lead
