The Quality Assurance Coordinator inspects, tests, and verifies the quality of trailer components and finished products at various stages of production. The role works closely with production teams to ensure manufacturing processes meet internal and external quality standards, and requires attention to detail, knowledge of quality control procedures, troubleshooting, personnel training, and effective issue resolution. The coordinator documents inspection results, prepares quality and non-conformance reports, analyzes quality data and metrics, and helps maintain quality standards, inspection criteria, and quality-system processes. The role collaborates with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, Warranty, and counterparts at other sites to investigate defects, validate product and process changes, implement corrective actions, share best practices, and improve production processes and procedures. The coordinator also assists with audits, inspections, and certifications and provides quality guidance and training to production personnel. The position involves regular ladder and scaffolding use, work indoors and outdoors throughout the year, minimal two-handed lifting up to 51 pounds, and extended periods on one's feet. It includes occasional exposure to dust and chemicals and requires use of job-related PPE. Occasional travel to other sites may be required, and overtime may be required as needed.
