About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a QA Automation Tester for a hybrid contract position with a Global Financial Institution. This role supports parallel projects in a fast-paced environment and requires a background in Java/Spring development and test automation experience. The candidate will be responsible for developing and executing testing strategies, troubleshooting issues independently, and ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Requirements

Java/Spring developer background
Experience in Selenium and Java
Proficient in Advanced SQL Skills
Strong analytics skills
Proficient with issue and risk resolution
Acquainted with Enterprise Data Management Standards
Working knowledge of Autosys Scheduling
Experience working in an Agile Team (and familiar with SAFe Agile Practices)

Nice To Haves

Hands-on experience using Cucumber and BDD processes creating Feature Files and Step Definitions
Good knowledge on the Workfusion platform
Strong BI Skills (Tableau / MSTR)
Flexibility in learning new Analytical Tools
Ability to work independently through implementation

Responsibilities

Develop and execute testing strategies utilizing various software deliverable methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
Work with Development and other internal teams to help troubleshoot and resolve issues, identify risks, and ensure defects are resolved
Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements
Lead test planning at a team level and ensure stories are well refined with clear acceptance criteria
Implement the test framework for the team and lead test case reviews
Identify automation opportunities and develop test automation for applicable test types
Condition and generate test data, ensuring data compliance requirements are met
Execute manual and automated test cases, record test results, and report issues and defects
Trace tests through the development lifecycle and back to requirements
Maintain and catalog test suites across test types (Smoke, Integration, Regression, etc.)
