About The Position
This role involves translating business requirements or policy documentation into test cases and scenarios, and building them into test systems. The position requires deep knowledge of healthcare operations, preferably Medicaid, and business processes. The consultant will be responsible for using formal test design tools and working within both standard SDLC (Waterfall methodology) and Agile delivery environments. Lumen and/or its clients will not provide equipment; the selected contractor must have their own. Access to a virtual desktop setup will be provided.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, healthcare, or related field (5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance may substitute for formal education)
- 5+ years of experience translating business requirements or policy documentation into test cases and scenarios, and building them into test systems
- 3+ years of deep knowledge of healthcare operations (preferably Medicaid) and business processes
- 3+ years of direct, hands-on experience with formal test design tools
- Must have own equipment (Laptop, monitor, etc.)
Nice To Haves
- Technical and/or Project Management certifications from recognized organizations
- 5+ years of experience with large enterprise or e-business systems
- 3+ years of proficiency using manual or automated testing tools such as Azure DevOps or Atlassian JIRA and Confluence
- 3+ years of experience working in a standard SDLC (Waterfall methodology) and Agile delivery environments
