About The Position
This role involves translating business requirements or policy documentation into test cases and scenarios, and building them into test systems. The position requires deep knowledge of healthcare operations business processes and proficiency with manual or automated testing tools. The selected contractor must provide their own equipment (Laptop, monitor, etc.), but access to a virtual desktop setup will be provided.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, healthcare, or related field (5+ years of Quality Assurance experience may substitute for formal education)
- 5+ years of experience translating business requirements or policy documentation into test cases and scenarios, and building them into test systems
- 3+ years of deep knowledge of healthcare operations business processes
- 3+ years of proficiency with manual or automated testing tools such as Azure DevOps or Atlassian JIRA and Confluence
Nice To Haves
- Technical and/or Project Management certifications from recognized sources
- 5+ years of experience with large enterprise or e-business systems
- 3+ years of prior experience working in a standard SDLC (waterfall methodology) and Agile delivery environments
- Healthcare operations experience, specifically Medicaid
