About The Position

The Quality Assurance Automation Engineer works in Uline’s IT department to develop automated tests, frameworks, and scripts that support reliable, high-quality web applications. The role uses tools and technologies including TestComplete, Playwright, TypeScript, and JavaScript, and contributes to web, API, and mobile application testing for Uline’s North American business. The position is on-site at Uline’s Corporate Headquarters in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of scripting in QA Automation Engineering.
• Experience programming with a modern language such as JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Proficiency with SQL, API testing, Git, and Agile.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or a similar test management tool.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance automated test frameworks for web, API, and mobile applications using Playwright, TestComplete, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Partner with developers and IT teams to define best practices and create test cases that improve reliability and performance.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using technologies such as Jenkins, GitLab, and Azure DevOps to support continuous testing and feedback.
• Execute and track automated and manual tests, and work with developers to troubleshoot issues.
• Document and share automation frameworks and test results, providing actionable recommendations based on findings.
