About The Position

TRAC Autism Center Inc. is seeking an organized, collaborative Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager to support access to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. The role manages quality assurance, compliance, provider credentialing, client intake, insurance benefits verification, and service authorizations while working closely with operations and clinical leaders. It is remote and allows the employee to create a schedule within a 40-hour Monday-through-Friday workweek. The manager oversees provider credentialing and enrollment across county Community Mental Health agencies and programs, regional PIHPs, Medicaid, and commercial insurance networks as applicable. The role maintains provider and payer records, coordinates attestations and qualifications checks, tracks applications and renewals, and works with external contacts to address enrollment issues. It also supports families through administrative intake, verifies insurance eligibility and ABA benefits, processes authorization requests, and monitors authorization units and deadlines. The position maintains compliance processes and policies relating to federal and Michigan requirements, Medicaid, contracts, privacy and security, recipient rights, and applicable ABA ethical standards. It organizes audits and record reviews, supports corrective actions, coordinates audit and inquiry responses, and works with billing, scheduling, intake, and clinical teams to ensure services, authorizations, provider eligibility, documentation, and claims are consistent. The role also coordinates staff education and training records, reports key risks and progress to leadership, and may supervise assigned quality assurance or credentialing staff, if applicable. The role is remote, involves regular computer use and confidential record review, and may occasionally require attendance at audits or external meetings based on TRAC’s service locations. Dependable communication and timely completion of work are expected. Essential functions may be performed with reasonable accommodation.
