Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2–3 years of experience in a Quality, Manufacturing, or Aerospace environment
  • Working knowledge of AS9102 First Article Inspection requirements
  • Experience compiling and submitting aerospace customer data packs
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with aerospace customer portals and electronic document submission systems
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to document accuracy
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and recordkeeping skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or higher
  • Experience within a contract manufacturing aerospace environment
  • Familiarity with AS9100 Quality Management Systems
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Epicor, or NetSuite
  • Previous experience supporting customer or third-party audits
  • SharePoint experience

Responsibilities

  • Compiling and reviewing AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) for completeness, accuracy, and customer compliance
  • Preparing and maintaining customer quality data packs, including certifications, inspection reports, material traceability records, and process documentation
  • Uploading, submitting, and managing quality documentation through aerospace customer portals
  • Maintaining quality records in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Supporting internal and external audits by organizing and retrieving required documentation
  • Collaborating with Quality Engineers, Production, Purchasing, and Planning teams to gather necessary records and certifications
  • Tracking document status and ensuring timely submission to meet customer delivery schedules
  • Assisting with document control activities, revision management, and record retention requirements
  • Communicating professionally with customers regarding quality documentation questions and requests
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality Management System (QMS)
