About The Position

The QMS Auditor supports the Integrated Management System (IMS), process improvement plans, key metrics, and internal and external audits. The role analyzes IMS data and develops audit reports and visual analyses; plans and leads internal audits; hosts customer and ISO audits; and drives audit findings and nonconformities to closure through effective root-cause and corrective-action processes. It also contributes to continuous improvement projects and develops ISO/IMS training materials.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of ISO management systems, including Quality, Environmental, OHS, and Security.
• Knowledge of cause-and-effect analysis and closed-loop concepts.
• Experience writing QMS/IMS manuals, related procedures, or work instructions.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and auditor skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to remain flexible in a dynamic work environment.
• Direct ISO/auditing experience required.
• Associate’s degree preferred, or 5+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze IMS system data and develop heat maps, Pareto analyses, and audit reports.
• Develop, plan, schedule, and lead internal audit activities to ensure the IMS is maintained.
• Develop audit plan white papers and conduct opening and closing meetings.
• Host external customer and ISO audits.
• Drive audit findings and nonconformities to closure, ensuring effective root cause and corrective actions meet ISO requirements.
• Complete IMS continuous improvement projects.
• Develop ISO/IMS-related training materials.
• Perform other duties related to ISO/IMS, internal and external audits, and training as assigned.
