About The Position

The Nursing Schedule Coordinator is responsible for ensuring appropriate staffing levels at all times. The coordinator creates staffing schedules that support quality nursing care and works with the Executive Director and Director of Nursing to communicate staffing needs and schedules while ensuring compliance with budgetary, state, and federal guidelines. The role calls for supportive, organized, collaborative, and courteous coordination, with a focus on excellent care for residents.

Requirements

• Successful completion of a state-approved training program in medication administration.
• Indiana QMA license.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Ensure appropriate staffing levels are met at all times.
• Create staffing schedules that ensure the provision of quality nursing care.
• Coordinate with the Executive Director and Director of Nursing to advise and communicate staffing schedules and needs.
• Help ensure staffing practices comply with applicable budgetary, state, and federal guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with team members to support excellent resident care and resolve scheduling matters quickly, equitably, and courteously.
