About The Position

The Nurse Scheduling Coordinator is a key team member responsible for ensuring appropriate staffing levels are met at all times. This role requires a QMA and on-call availability. The coordinator supports the overall assurance of adequate staffing to provide quality nursing care.

Requirements

• Successful completion of a state-approved training program in medication administration.
• Indiana QMA or License.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values (Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, Excellence) to residents, family members, customers, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure appropriate staffing levels are met at all times.
• Create staffing schedules that ensure the provision of quality nursing care.
• Coordinate with the Executive Director and Director of Nursing to advise and communicate staffing schedules and needs.
• Ensure compliance with appropriate budgetary, State and Federal guidelines.
• Work towards a common goal of excellent care for residents.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quick, equitable, and courteous scheduling patterns and resolutions.
• Provide a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents and team members.
