About The Position

Seymour Crossing is hiring a Nurse Scheduling Coordinator. This role is responsible for ensuring appropriate nursing staffing levels are met at all times and for creating schedules that support quality nursing care. The coordinator works with the Executive Director and Director of Nursing to communicate staffing schedules and needs and to support compliance with budgetary, state, and federal guidelines. The role requires a QMA and is on call. The successful candidate brings a supportive presence, strong organization and communication skills, and a collaborative, team-oriented approach. A passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence are important. Requirements

Successful completion of a state-approved medication administration training program.
Indiana QMA or license.
Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to support a team-oriented approach to excellent resident care.

Responsibilities

Ensure appropriate staffing levels are met at all times.
Create nursing staffing schedules that support quality care.
Coordinate with the Executive Director and Director of Nursing to communicate staffing schedules and needs.
Support compliance with applicable budgetary, state, and federal guidelines.
Collaborate with team members to establish equitable scheduling patterns and resolve scheduling issues courteously and promptly.
Help create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents and team members.
Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values in interactions with residents, family members, customers, and staff.
