About The Position

The Delaney at Parkway Lakes, managed by LCS, is seeking hospitality-focused Caregivers/QLS to provide resident care and related services that support residents’ personal needs and comfort. The role includes assisting with personal care, bed-making and linen changes, laundry, meals, and assigned shift activities. Caregivers are expected to promote a calm atmosphere and uphold LCS’s hospitality promises, including treating residents, employees, and guests with respect, anticipating needs, responding promptly, maintaining professionalism, and paying attention to detail. The schedule is two days a week and two evenings a week, with shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Starting pay is $16.00 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience working as a CNA, PCA, HHA, or RA preferred.
One year of experience working in assisted living or memory care preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinence care, and foot care.
Take vital signs and check height and weight according to policy.
Make beds in the morning as needed, turn down beds in the evening as needed, and change bed linens weekly or as needed.
Complete assigned resident personal laundry.
Complete assigned flat linens each shift.
Assist residents during mealtimes.
Use special program components offered by the community.
Promote a calm atmosphere.
Complete and document assigned shift duties.
Greet residents, employees, and guests warmly, by name and with a smile.
Treat everyone with courteous respect and anticipate and respond to needs in a timely manner.
Hold oneself and others accountable, value differences, and help residents, employees, and guests feel important.
Maintain professionalism in conduct and appearance and pay attention to detail.
