QLS/Caregiver
About The Position
The Delaney at Parkway Lakes, managed by LCS, is seeking hospitality-focused Caregivers/QLS to perform resident care activities and related services that support residents’ personal needs and comfort. The role involves providing personal care, assisting with meals, maintaining resident bedding and laundry, using community programs, promoting a calm atmosphere, and completing and documenting assigned shift duties. The schedule is two days a week and two evenings a week, with shifts listed as 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Starting pay is $16.00 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience working as a CNA, PCA, HHA, or RA preferred.
- One year of experience working in assisted living or memory care preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinence care, and foot care.
- Take vital signs and measure height and weight according to policy.
- Make beds as needed in the morning, turn them down as needed in the evening, and change bed linens weekly or as needed.
- Complete assigned resident personal laundry and flat linens per shift.
- Assist residents at mealtimes.
- Utilize special program components offered by the community.
- Promote a calm atmosphere.
- Complete and document assigned shift duties.
