About The Position

Inspects, accepts, and/or rejects work performed in compliance with applicable codes and specifications. The role requires a working knowledge of the company quality control program, standards, procedures, and codes, and includes performing audits to ensure compliance. The position also involves completing records, maintaining tools and equipment, and carrying out clean-up and housekeeping activities. The employee must observe and comply with safety and project rules, including wearing required personal safety equipment, and perform other duties as required. Required certifications include AWS/CWI, ASNT NDT, and API Inspector certifications. The position generally requires 5 to 7 years of experience as a top craftsman, or 4 years of craft experience and an associate degree, or an engineering bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience.

Requirements

Certifications required for AWS/CWI, ASNT NDT, and API Inspectors.
Generally, 5 to 7 years of experience as a top craftsman; or 4 years of craft experience and an Associate's Degree; or an engineering BS degree and 2 years of experience.
Able to meet the listed physical demands: standing 60%, walking 20%, sitting 20%; lifting 50 lb.; carrying 50 lb.; pushing and pulling 70 ft-lb. Physical activity frequencies are specified for climbing and balancing (frequently), stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling (occasionally), reaching and handling (constantly), and fingering (frequently).
