About The Position

The QAQC Manager inspects, accepts, and/or rejects work to ensure compliance with applicable codes and specifications. The role requires working knowledge of the company quality control program, standards, procedures, and codes; performing compliance audits; and maintaining records, tools, and equipment. The position also includes housekeeping activities, compliance with safety and project rules, use of required personal protective equipment, and other duties as required. Requirements

Certifications required for AWS/CWI, ASNT NDT, and API Inspectors.
Generally, a minimum of 5 to 7 years as a top craftsman, or 4 years of craft experience and an Associate's Degree, or an engineering BS degree and 2 years of experience.
Ability to meet the stated physical requirements: standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 50 lb., carrying up to 50 lb., pushing and pulling 70 ft-lb., and the listed climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, and fingering frequencies.

Responsibilities

Inspect, accept, and/or reject work for compliance with applicable codes and specifications.
Understand and apply the company quality control program, standards, procedures, and codes.
Perform audits to ensure compliance.
Complete records and maintain tools and equipment.
Perform clean-up and housekeeping activities.
Observe and comply with safety and project rules, including wearing required personal safety equipment.
Perform other duties as required.
